Charles James arrived to Buenos Aires in 1831. He was a tailor. The same year he married Harriot Rowe, a sister of Phoebe and George Rowe, and stepdaughter of John Alexander, who was a seamstress. The couple died during the epedimy of yellowfever in 1871 and left no descendacy.
