A series remains of 33 postcards and letters from Benjamin Leo Wessels, first from Amsterdam (dated from 13 October 1942 through 26 September 1943) and later from Westerbork (dated 3 November 1943). There is also a drawing of the house where Ben Leo Wessels lived with his parents (A92 Stationsweg, Oostvoorne).

The letters written by Benjamin Leo Wessels form the basis of the book Ben's story. Holocaust letters with selections from the Dutch underground press written by K.W. Bolle, published by the Southern Illinois University Press in 2001.
