[1391] Robert Barton may has been in Buenos Aires before 1815, only then he shows on the records as withess in the marriage of his brother James. In 1820 he requested a passport in order to travel to Chile. He is described there as single, tall, blond, brown eyes, slim nose, small mouth, little face hair and long face. After that his track is lost. There is speculation that he may have settled in Ecuador.
