In 1899 he inherited La Balsa and a part of Cañada La Larga, totaling 3.046 Hts.
On 10 Feb 1903 he buys from his sister Isidora Thompson de Cowan, 420 Hts., the balance outstanding of Cañada La Larga.
On 10 jun 1923 he buys 116 Hts. from Sucesión Velazco, for wich he paid $26.713.
On 15 Apr 1939 he buys 418 Hts. from Sucesión Durrels paying $72.000, this comes to a total of 4.000 Hts. for La Balsa.
In conjunction with his cousin Edmundo Kirk he bought La Marita, in Leones Provincia de Córdoba, in 1913. In 1915 it had to be sold, due to econimic problems , it was bought in $900.000, it was paid $325.000 , they were short of $575000.
In Colonia Barón, Provincia de La Pampa, he bought 2.500 Hts. along side of the Dunns, this land was bought 8 May 1907 at $40 the Ht.,
He bought from Alberto Brown in thedistrict of Cañuelas, Vicente Casares station, 146 Hts. in nov1925.
On 21 oct 1927 with the proceeds of Colonia Barón, he bought 2.000Hts. of La Argentina, including the house, in Tres Algarrobos, district of Carlos Tejedor, Provincia de Buenos Aires, also from Alberto Brown.
