[1415] On 28 Aug 1837 John Thompson buys Cinco Alamos, in Magdalena, Provincia de Buenos Aires, which is inherited in the totality by his son Ignacio Henrique Thompson, as the other brothers surrendered their rights, having being compensated in other ways.

In 1853 Ignacio Henrique buys 7.161 Hts. of La Primera Estancia del Espíritu Santo in the district of Magdalena. In March of 1875 he buys further the balance of 12.835 Hts, for a total of 22.996 Hts. He buys La María with 8.000 Hts., located in Guaminí, Provincia de Buenos Aires; La Balsa and La Largain, in Magdalena, Provincia de Buenos Aires; Los Pireneos, with 3.140 Hts. and La Carolina with 1.072 Hts., both in Coronel Suárez, Provincia de Buenos Aires; and Los Lincolns with 3.700 Hts. in Lobería, Provincia de Buenos Aires.
